Dive into the World of Environmental Science!

Get ready to embark on an exciting journey through the AQA Level specification in Environmental Science, where you’ll explore the intricate relationship between science and geography! Over two stimulating years, you will delve into six captivating topics that will ignite your passion for understanding our planet.

In Year 12, you’ll kick off your adventure with a deep dive into the Living Environment and the Physical Environment (Geography), alongside critical themes like Energy Resources and Pollution (Science). This foundational knowledge will set the stage for your exploration of vital concepts that shape our world.

Transitioning to Year 13, the excitement continues as you investigate Biological Resources (Science) and Sustainability (Geography). These topics will challenge you to think critically about the sustainable future of our planet and how we can make a positive impact!

To enhance your learning experience, you will also participate in a residential field trip with A Level Geography students. This hands-on adventure will allow you to apply your knowledge in real-world settings while honing your practical skills and fulfilling the fieldwork requirements of the course.

At the end of this journey, you’ll tackle two comprehensive papers—each lasting three hours. One paper will assess your Year 12 insights, while the other will challenge you on your Year 13 knowledge. You'll encounter a range of questions, including ten engaging short answers and a choice of one thought-provoking 25-mark question.

Join us in Environmental Science, where you will not only learn about the world but also explore ways to protect it for future generations!
