  • 'One of the things that I like about Campion is that it is easy to make friends. I was one of the only ones to come from my school, but I joined a club and made lots of new friends.'

    Year 9 Pupil

  • 'My advice to anyone who is worried about starting secondary school is not to worry. It's so fun here and you can talk to anyone it is such a safe environment.'

    Year 7 Pupil

  • 'You may notice students wearing a different coloured tie. These students are School Ambassadors. School Ambassadors are role models for other pupils. As a school Ambassador I have acted as a Buddy to younger pupils, helping them if they get lost and answering their questions.'

Notice of School Closure – Wednesday, 24 June and Thursday, 25 June

We have monitored classroom temperatures at 1pm this afternoon and have noted temperatures of between 29 degrees and 32 degrees. This includes new buildings and old buildings. The coolest part of the school at 1pm was the sports hall which recorded a temperature of 26 degrees.
With temperatures due to rise and a Met Office Red Warning in place (the weather warning is from 9am Wednesday to 9pm on Thursday), we will be unable to use the field tomorrow and therefore all pupils will have to remain inside. This puts pressure on inside rooms and temperatures are predicted to rise tomorrow which could pose a health and safety risk to
staff and pupils at the school. I have therefore taken the decision to close the school for two days on Wednesday, 24 June and Thursday, 25 June and to re-open on Friday, 26 June.
