Drama KS3

‘All the world’s a stage’ – in Drama we explore the world!

Key Stage 3 Drama Overview

Key Stage 3 Drama is designed to equip students with essential skills that will benefit them in all areas of life, whether or not they choose to pursue drama at the GCSE level. Through this dynamic course, students will cultivate their creativity, confidence, teamwork, problem-solving, time management, communication, and independence.

Learning in our drama classes is primarily hands-on, with students regularly creating and performing their own pieces. In addition to practical work, students will explore various theoretical aspects, including theatrical styles, a brief history of theatre, and fundamental design skills, highlighting the fact that a successful production involves much more than just acting.

We strive to foster a supportive and engaging environment in which all students can thrive. For those who are interested, there are opportunities to participate in the school production and join the Drama Club.
