Post-16 Results 2020

Campion School pupils have continued to build on the successes of the past five years, with our Year 13 pupils achieving outstanding results once again. Our students have achieved a 100% pass rate in A levels, with 58% of pupils achieving grades A* or A and 98% achieving grades A* to C. Pupils studying BTEC qualifications have achieved equally high with a 100% pass rate and 89% achieving Distinction* or Distinction grades. The results are consistent with the teacher predictions and mock exams that all the pupils sat.

Many pupils have achieved 100% A* or A grades, including Phoebe Moss, Helena Hall, Hamzah Malik, Teagan Gough, Nuno Bettencourt, Pawal Kuczynski, Harmandip Singh and Danielle Wright. Phoebe Moss went on to achieve A*A*A in History, Psychology and Biology and Helena Hall achieved A*AA in Business, Maths and Economics. All of these pupils have secured positive destinations with the vast majority going off to top universities.

“This has been a very challenging time for all our student but particularly our students awaiting exam results. We are very pleased that the A level results that our teachers submitted have been validated by the exam boards and represent the excellent team work our pupils, parents and staff have developed over the past seven years. This team work has seen us through this strange year. I am very pleased that the school’s upward trajectory in examination results has continued even during these challenging times. Our pupils have shown great character and resilience. Along with these excellent results, this is a recipe for success. Well done to all of you.”

“Our students have worked incredibly hard during their Level 3 studies and are very deserving of their results. These results are a reflection of the effort, perseverance and positive attitude that they have shown every day at Campion School - we are confident that if our students had the opportunity to sit their exams, they would have achieved just as high, if not better. We are particularly proud of this Year 13 cohort who, through circumstances beyond their control, have gone on to show an unparalleled level of maturity. We extend our congratulations to each and every student and wish them the greatest success in their futures.”
