Campion pupils got thoroughly involved in raising money, getting active and having fun in order to support Sports Relief. Throughout the day children from different year groups took part in the ‘Chaos Run’. This involved a series of challenges spread across the entirety of the school field from races and hay bale challenges to water slides and bungee runs.
Campion’s Student Sports Council organised the day and it was supported by Kids Run Free and Raceways. Ali Knight, the school games organiser for Central Warwickshire said ‘It was fantastic to see the children participating in a very different activity and for such a great cause!’
The money raised will be used by Comic Relief to change lives at home and abroad. In the UK it helps provide shelter for young people living on the streets and protection to those living with domestic abuse. Across the world the money helps children into education and provides communities with fresh water and life-saving vaccines. And that’s just the start!
